Clazziquai Project (Hangul: 클래지콰이), Mereka juga dikenal sebagai: CLAZZIQUAI PROJECT, Clazziquai atau CLAZZIQUAI, dan CZQ.
Clazziquai adalah band electropop Korea Selatan, musik mereka mirip dengan Shibuya-Kei yang menggabungkan beberapa genre termasuk musik elektronik, jazz classic dan pop, yang awalnya dimulai sebagai proyek percobaan DJ Clazzi (a.k.a Gim Seong Hun) pada tahun 2001.
Clazziquai sendiri beranggotakan 3 orang: DJ Clazzi, Alex dan Horan. DJ Clazzi bisa dibilang dedengkotnya band ini. Lahir 15 November 1974, dia punya nama lengkap Kim Sung-hoon, yang besar di Kanada. Dia tamatan dari Capilano College sebelum kemudian ngelanjutin belajar di CDIS (Center for Digital Image).
Dia penggemar avid jazz dan biasa main piano untuk band beraliran jazz. Konon dia sempat kerja sebagai web designer, dan suka upload musiknya di internet. Dari sinilah kemudian muncul Clazziquai Project.
Pakai istilah ‘project’ katanya karena ini merupakan semacam kerjasama yang bersifat sementara buat ngerjain suatu proyek musik. Meski begitu, konon anggota Clazziquai, karena ini kerjasama dalam menciptakan musik, mereka akan tetap eksis.
Anggota yang lain, yang paling beken, Alex Chu yang punya nama Korea Chu Hun-gon. Dia lahir 2 September 1979 (we born under the same sign.
Alex Chu juga besar di Kanada. Lalu setelah besar balik ke Korea dan mulai bermusik. Punya modal Bahasa Inggris yang bagus, membuatnya fasih menyanyi, selain lagu-lagu Bahasa Korea juga Bahasa Inggris (dengan logat yang pas, nggak seperti kebanyakan penyanyi Korea yang logatnya kadang terdengar aneh.
Horan (Choi Horan) adalah vokalis cewek-nya Clazziquai. Dia menggantikan, Christina Chu, kakaknya Alex yang awalnya jadi lead vocal-nya Clazziquai. Nama aslinya Choi Su-jin, lahir tanggal 5 Juli 1979. Sama kayak Alex, Suaranya Horan ini juga keren dan memang pas banget kalau duet sama Alex.
Album pendek pertama band ini dirilis secara online pada tahun 2001, menyebarkan musiknya melalui kata-kata "netizen", yang secara positif menerima musik band.
Kelompok ini tetap dalam kerahasiaan sampai partisipasi mereka dalam soundtrack drama pemenang penghargaan My Lovely Sam Soon.
Pada akhir tahun 2005, setelah berkolaborasi dengan seniman Jepang Fantastic Plastic Machine dan grup m-flo, mereka menandatangani kontrak dengan Avex Trax, tanpa berhenti ditandatangani di bawah FLUXUS MUSIC di Korea Selatan.
Mereka tetap membumi sampai rilis album pertama mereka Instant Pig pada tahun 2004, terjual lebih dari 80.000 eksemplar. Sejak itu, musik mereka telah digunakan dalam pertunjukan, iklan, dan film.
Clazziquai dikenal karena lagu-lagu mereka, "Be My Love" dan "She Is", yang ditampilkan di drama Korea My Lovely Samsoon, dengan yang pertama menjadi lagu tema acara.
Band ini memenangkan penghargaan di MNET KM Music Video Festival untuk "Best Soundtrack", dan juga menjadi band yang paling dinominasikan di Korean Popular Music Awards II (2 회), pemenang "Artis Tahun Ini" dan "Pop Terbaik" .

Karena memang bersifat "project" Clazziquai memang tidak mengikat. Masing-masing anggotanya bebas bermusik di luar Clazziquai dan berkolaborasi dengan musikus siapapun.
Pada tahun 2011, misalnya, DJ Clazzi sempat mengeluarkan digital single-nya dan menjadi produser musik untuk penyanyi Jepang, Izawa Asami.
Alex juga sempat bikin dua solo album dan beberapa single. Belakangan, didukung wajahnya yang memang lumayan, dia juga mulai menjajal dunia akting di beberapa drama Korea seperti Finding Love , Pasta, Smile Dong Hae, Hotel King, She's so Lovable dan juga reality show yang populer banget "We've Got Married" (tapi menurut saya Alex tetep jauh lebih keren kalau lagi nyanyi. suaranya benar-benar TOP!
Demikian dengan Horan. Selain nyanyi di Clazziquai, Horan juga nyanyi untuk band-nya yang lain yang juga bergenre indie: Ibadi (band beraliran soul-acoustic.
Horan juga nyanyi solo, salah satu lagunya yang menurut saya enak banget adalah "Booranhan Sarang (Uncertain Love)" yang jadi ost-nya drama seri Korea "City Hall".
Di luar Clazziquai, Alex dan Horan ini sering duet dan tidak hanya membawakan lagu-lagunya DJ Clazzi, dan karenanya, nggak selalu bisa disebut Clazziquai meski Clazziquai identik dengan mereka berdua.
